2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War One. To commemorate the technological developments of military machinery, Corgi presents the World War One Centenary Collection. The ÔOld BillÕ or ÔB-TypeÕ bus was a double-decker bus that was first introduced in London in 1910 and was operated by London General Omnibus Company for the daily transportation of Londoners around the city. After the outbreak of the First World War, 900 of the buses were called upon for support in the war effort and they were used for the transportation of troops having been repainted in camouflage colour khaki.
